I have a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (education EC-6th grade) and Special Education from UNT. I'm currently in graduate school at UNT in the Educational Diagnostician program. I'm certified in Texas to teach elementary general education and special education from the elementary to the high school level.
Experience
I would like to be a tutor because I love teaching kids and helping them succeed. I'm a certified teacher for general education and special education. I have experience in small group, whole group, and one-on-one instruction. I have access to state curriculum, programs, and materials that I am allowed to use over the summer. I love seeing the "lightbulb" moment when a student finally understands something and feels a sense of pride in themselves.
